Pop-up Bar to Open Daily During Last Phase of “Dream of Flight” Renovation

ALBUQUERQUE – The Albuquerque International Sunport announced that the Dos Equis NM Fiesta, a new, temporary bar, is now open. The pop-up will be available for approximately nine months, as other food and beverage concessions along the A and B concourses close for construction work as part of the Sunport’s Dream of Flight terminal renovation. The bar is located in Concourse A (Gate A5) and will open daily from 10:00am-6:00pm.

Operated by Albuquerque-based Fresquez Companies, the Dos Equis NM Fiesta will offer a selection of beer, classic cocktails and wine.

“As we navigate the transition of restaurant closures and openings during the upcoming holiday season, the Dos Equis NM Fiesta will allow us to maintain the exceptional service our travelers expect, providing a terrific experience while offering something special that fits perfectly within the Concourse Cocktails program,” said Fresquez Companies Vice President of Marketing and Innovation Jimmy Jara-Holdridge.

“The Dos Equis NM Fiesta will arrive just in time, as the Sunport transitions from former food and beverage spaces over to exciting new concepts, all part of our reimagined concessions program,” said Aviation Department Deputy Director Gary Gilliard. “Travelers may enjoy their drink at the seated bar or at their departure gate as part of our new Concourse Cocktails program. ¡Salud!”
