Meet Anthony B. Gallegos, a passionate and dedicated native of New Mexico. Currently serving his second term as Airport Advisory Board Chairman, Anthony brings a wealth of experience from his 14-year tenure as an Operations Manager at the University of New Mexico (UNM). His contribution to community organizations is vast, including Leadership Albuquerque, UNM Parent Association, and many more. His academic pursuits led him from Eastern New Mexico University to UNM, where he’s now pursuing a second master’s in Project Management. His professional journey has seen him work at Fortune 500 companies such as Lockheed, Honeywell, and the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington D.C. while nurturing a lifelong passion for aviation. Despite the setback of losing hearing in one ear and having to give up his dream of becoming a pilot, Anthony immersed himself in the world of aviation, contributing to key projects and rubbing shoulders with aviation pioneers.
